The Wood House.
What can I say about the woodhouse, well it dates back to the English civil war it was apparently lived in at one time by George Bryant who started Drayton Manor and I was unbelievably demolished last year (2010). Are all councils stupid or just the ones around here?

This wonderful building stood in the middle of Hopwas woods and was there at the time of the English civil war, unfortunately Lichfield council allowed it to be demolished four or five years ago.

Fantastic photograph, but I would like to know where this wonderful building was?

I wish to be kept informed of any alterations to the plan and having been born in the village and residing here for well over 65 years, I wish to be considered as a source for consultation. My professional qualifications knowledge and experience should be considered as an asset in this respect

Can I ask was this the Wood House that was connected to the Peels Estate, Drayton Manor?

Many thanks
